Our Team

We believe that a great assisted living home is built by a great team. At Karuna Care London, our team will be the heart of our service – a group of dedicated and compassionate professionals who share our vision of person-centred care.

Karuna Care London is led by a skilled Registered Manager (responsible for day-to-day operations and compliance) supported by a Deputy Manager. They will oversee a capable team of Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants, who will provide personalised support to residents around the clock. We will also have dedicated staff for enrichment and support: a Co-ordinator, an Administrator/Receptionist to ensure smooth communication and record-keeping, as well as housekeeping and maintenance personnel to keep the environment clean, safe and comfortable. Every role – from management to front-line carers to support staff – is vital in creating a home-like atmosphere where residents feel safe, cared for, and valued. Our approach to building the team is focused on quality, training, and a caring culture. We are committed to recruiting people who not only have the right qualifications and experience, but also embody empathy, patience, and respect. All staff will undergo thorough background checks and a robust induction process. New care workers will complete the Care Certificate as part of their induction (covering the 15 essential standards for care) and receive mandatory training in areas such as safeguarding, moving & handling, infection control, and first aid. We also believe in continuous professional development – our staff will have regular refresher courses and opportunities to pursue further qualifications (for example, NVQ diplomas in Health and Social Care). By investing in ongoing training and development, we ensure our team has “the right people, skills and support to deliver the highest quality care”

We promote a positive team culture where every member is encouraged to learn, grow, and take pride in their work. Through mentorship, support, and recognition, we aim to retain a happy and motivated workforce dedicated to compassionate caregiving. Ultimately, our goal is to cultivate a centre of excellence in care – where our team’s professionalism and kindness shine through in every interaction, and where residents receive the best possible support from a staff that is knowledgeable, caring, and truly passionate about what they do.
